The Cowboy and the Cowgirl
I just love this cowboy, laidback, chilling out and heading forth to a mission unknown! The sweet little cowgirl and her hound waving goodbye to the wanderer. Coloured with Zig Clean Colour Markers and a waterbrush this Card was a joy to make. Store cupboard Cardstock, And Sunshine die coloured with Clear Wink of Stella finishes it off nicely.
Sweet Soirée Decorative Masks
I watched a new technique on You Tube show the Black Ice Technique. I loved it but thought I would give it a whirl using another colour. In the new Occasions Catalogue there are 2 very easy to miss stensils on page 13. Using the sheet with the Rose I used a dauber to put versamark ink onto Stampin! Up. Whisper White Card Stock. Then used an assortment of embossing powders that have been sitting idle for far too long. Hit the. With the heat gun and they turned out beautifully. Using the new Emerald Envy Ink pad ( 141396 $11.50) I dragged it down over the whisper white card stock. Dried and repeated using the versa mark ink pad, swished it through the clear embossing powder tray and heated up. Looks amazing but very hard to see.
Christmas Chris and his Christmas Pud
Dr Digi puts out some awesome digital images. I love this one as my Wonderful Husband does like his Christmas Pudding. For the first time I used the new Stampin! Up. Blends, their new alcohol markers. They are easy to use, nice and juicy so the inks blend, reasonably priced either in pairs or singles or do like I did and used my Flex Points.

Paper Rose and May Gibbs
Snugglepot and Cuddlepie are as synonymous to Australia as Fish and chips are English! This fabulous Australian company has teamed up to bring us the main Characters from May Gibbs wonderful book Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. These Gumnut babies together with the Blossom Babes lead a life of adventure and laughter and resonate with most older Aussies. My Dad read this book to us when we caravaned during the holidays. The beautiful leaf and gumnut dies also from Paper Rose compliment the card.
VeraLane Studio and Pretty Grafikdesign
This is a great card for a young horse lover. Just used some green card stocks from the store cupboard and a horse diecut. The VeraLane digital image is the Cowgirl, looking very confident. The boots and hat is one of the images from the Cowgirl Set by Pretty Grafikdesign. Both these were purchased via Etsy. I have coloured with the water base Zig Clean Colour pens and an aqua painter.
Brushos
I have had an afternoons fun playing with Stampin! UPS new Brusho Colours. Available in the new Occasions Catalogue (p 26 144101 $52) they are a great new way to add extra dimensions to your cards and can be used in multiple ways for adding mixed media to your techniques and cards.
